At Fongomongo Games, we are confident that you will be satsfied with our games. We have put countless hours into playtesting and have tried to find every issue with the game mechanics, as well as the physical end product. If you are for any reason unsatisfied and wish to get money back for your game purchase, we would be happy to refund your money as per the conditions below.

How To Get A Refund

After you have purchased any of our games, and you would like to get a refund, please follow these steps:

- Email Fongomongo Games with a subject of "Refund Request"

- Include in the email your full name, the name of game, and the reason for the refund. Please specify ANY exceptional issues at this point for clarity during the final assessment

We will respond to your email and give you directions for processing your return

- Determine the shipping cost from your local postal outlet to the return address given to you in the "processing a return" email that Fongomongo Games will send to you

- Mail the game back to Fongomongo Games and your refund will be processed. 25% will be refunded upon mailing, and the remaining balance will be paid after the game arrives at the Fongomongo Games warehouse and the components have been verified.

The Process and Costs

The "Determined Return Amount" will be based on 50% of MSRP (in CAD) unless another arrangement is made during the refund request. When a refund request is approved, it is the responsibility of the current owner of the game to determine shipping costs and pay for those shipping costs to get the game back to the Fongomongo Games warehouse. Once the current owner of the game has shipped it and provided a tracking number to Fongomongo Games via email response, 25% of the determined return amount will be paid via an Interac E-Transfer or through Paypal. The ownership of the game now transfers to Fongomongo Games. Once the game arrives in the Fongomongo Games warehouse, it will be examined to verify that the game has not undergone unreasonable wear and tear and the components will be counted and compared against the component list included with the game. If there are any components that are unreasonably worn out or missing, there will be a deduction from the refund amount based on $0.20 per waste / missing component. After the final assessment is complete, the remaining amount determined will be paid via an Interac E-Transfer or through Paypal.

Exceptions

Exceptions may apply due to manufacturing defects or other unforeseen things. These issues must be made clear during the refund request. Part of the refund request email is specifying why the refund is taking place. Once the item is shipped, issues that were not raised during the refund request will not be considered when performing the final assessment.

If you funded a game through kickstarter and you are unsatisfied with the game, follow the steps above. The same shipping rules will apply to these refunds. Your Determined Return Amount will be based on the following:

Aftermath: The Beginning - $30 for the base game, $40 for base game with expansion content

Rolling Empires - $35 for base game, $40 for base game with Neutral faction mini-expansion
